What is Crypto Wealth Investment?

 

Traditional wealth investments comprise bonds, equity commodities, and property, and. Crypto Wealth investments differ. These investments are included in the Alternative Finance sector and fall into two categories: Crypto currencies and Crypto Asset tokens. 

 

Crypto currencies are "crowd-generated currencies. They're developed for different usage scenarios, such as an innovative money-making crypto currency (like Bit coin) or the currency used to help pay for the global block chain used to make tokens. Like any other currency, the value of a crypto currency will eventually be determined by the demand. 

 

The crypto currency market is currently a trillion-dollar market with highly speculative trade. It is expected that some of the world’s biggest financial institutions will enter this market in the coming year with the size of crypto currency market growing to $5 trillion by 2023. It is also expected that retail investors will hold about a fifth of this $5 trillion market. Experts also say that once the crypto currency market reaches maturity, ‘speculative investment value’ of crypto currencies will cease to exist.

Crypto Asset Tokens

 

Crypto-Asset tokens are created on general block chains such as Ethereum. 

 

Tokenization is expected to be bigger than crypto currencies with a vast potential for long term gains. Tokens, or ‘smart contracts’ as they are often called, could represent an asset such as a small part of a commercial building or a Tesla share. It could be an asset in itself, such as a loan document. 

 

The power of a token comes from its tradability, divisibility and transparency. By design tokens are highly tradable, being easy to buy, sell or store. It allows people to move away from typical trade restrictions and own quality assets.

 

Tokens are highly divisible. They allow high-value assets to be divided into smaller tokens so these assets can be shared by more investors. In this way more people benefit from these desirable assets.

 

In tokenization, the token ‘contract’ and key metric is publicly available, leading to greater transparency and investment confidence. 

 

There are a number of tokenization opportunities. Some of the most exciting ones are:

 

·         Fractional shares in property assets

·         Seamless trading of listed shares

·         Precious metals tokenization.

·         Tokenized crowd-lending to large firms for instance crypto-bonds

·         Tokenization to revolutionize crowd funding and fuel global innovation.

 

Typically Crypto Asset Tokens are securities, requiring regulated platforms, expert guidance and safe custody. They may have developed at a slower rate than, but are not any less valuable than crypto currencies. Some predictions estimate the global market potential for asset tokens to be in $10s of trillions. Financial institutions are expected to dominate in this space with plenty of crowd-based opportunities available. It is expected that asset tokens will exceed $5trillion by 2030. Tokenized crowd funding is expected to be a fifth of this value
